Health Tip Tuesday: Eat Your Breakfast!

Do you make a point to eat breakfast every morning?  Do you make a point to eat a HEALTHY breakfast every morning?  Doughnuts and pastries don’t count!  93% of Americans recognize that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but only 44% say that they eat it everyday!  If you are prone to skipping breakfast now and again, you’re going to want to see what you’re missing…

Breakfast gets labeled the most important meal of the day for a number of reasons.  Not only does breakfast provide you with the energy to start a new day, but breakfast is also linked to many health benefits, including weight management, concentration, strength/endurance, and lower cholesterol levels.  Studies have shown that eating a healthy breakfast gives you a more nutritionally complete diet, containing more nutrients, vitamins and minerals.  Check out this infographic (admittedly my favorite way to display information) below to get the full effect on why breakfast is a must everyday.
